Prime Season is our signature marathon and half marathon training program — built for runners training for the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Half Marathon, and races across the U.S. and World-wide during fall and winter.
Whether you're chasing your first finish or your next PR, Prime Season delivers the coaching, structure, community, and accountability you need to train smart, stay consistent, and build toward peak race performance.

🏃 Expert-Led Group Workouts (2–3 per week)

Saturday Long Run
6:00 AM fluid-supported routes (water + Gatorade) -
Tuesday 5:15 AM Interval Workout
Alternating track + hill sessions to build speed, power, and strong running form. -
Tuesday 6:00 PM Interval Workout
Alternating track + hill sessions to build speed, power, and strong running form. All PM workouts are held at the Memorial Park track and 3 along 3 hill circuits inside the park. -
Bonus: Occasional Sunday Trail Runs
Scenic, coached trail runs at Houston-area + Texas state parks.
Saturday 6:00 AM Long Run
Coached, organized long runs with full route support.
• Hydration stations (water + Gatorade)
• On-course guidance, pacing help, and form cues
• Iconic Houston routes rotated weekly
Tuesday 5:15 AM Interval Workout
Alternating track + hill sessions designed to build:
• Speed & power
• Stronger running form
• Better pacing control
• Injury-resistant mechanics
Tuesday 6:10 PM Interval Workout
Evening option for those who can’t attend mornings.
• Alternating track + hill workouts
Bonus: Occasional Sunday Trail Runs
Scenic adventure runs at Houston-area and Texas state parks including:
• Brazos Bend
• Huntsville State Park
• Lake Houston Wilderness Park
• Stephen F. Austin State Park
• Double Lake Recreation Area
• Kemah/Seabrook trails, and more
Coach Michael leads these peaceful, wooded, often gently hilly trail experiences.
